File # 2017-8856

Elementary students from School District 52 took part in coloring paper liquor bags from local liquor stores. The kids used their creativity to get the message across to not drink and drive.

"Its a positive message that we want to get out to people over the Holidays, we are hoping that receiving one of these bags will promote safe driving habits"; said by Acting Officer in Charge Sgt. Dave Uppal.

The bags were picked up from the liquor stores and taken to the Elementary Schools. One week later they were collected and delivered back out to the stores to be distributed throughout the Holiday season.

The Prince Rupert RCMP are wishing the residents of Prince Rupert and the surrounding area a safe and Happy Holiday.
