A 27 year old woman is in police custody after an armed robbery at a convenience store on Park Ave and Smithers St. Three suspects entered the convenience store with their faces covered brandishing what is believed to be a machete and an aluminum baseball bat. The suspects made off with stolen items and were last seen heading down the trail toward Moresby Trail.

Crimes of this nature will not be tolerated in our community, said Acting Detachment Commander Sgt. Jagdev Uppal.

Several items have been seized as evidence that were discarded by the suspects and that were in the arrested woman’s possession.
